At St Patrick’s, Salter Street, it is with a heavy heart that we now have to close our doors for services for the foreseeable future. The Church of England guidance has instructed churches ‘to put public worship on hold’. However, we are still here. We have been showing our determination to continue during the last 9 months of interregnum and, with God’s help, we will continue.
The most important aspects of our lives must be continue to be vigilant with our hand washing regime, to respect others by keeping a distance, to keep in contact by phone and email and above all pray to our heavenly father for the strength to come through, refined, fitter and stronger for whatever the future may bring our way.
“I have the strength to face all conditions by the power that Christ gives me.” Philippians 4.13 GNB
If you, or someone you know, need help, prayer or anything else, please use the contact details below. May God be with us all as we work together to come through these challenging times. Amen.
